We welcomed the first birthday with a song, well really Jim and I sang our version of the birthday song.
Poor Maywen didn’t know what to think at first, I mean how would you feel to wake up one morning then have your parents come in “singing to you”. But our rousing addition of Happy, Happy Birthday quickly got her in the mood, she did a fine jig.
Once we got The Girl out of bed she came out to the beginning of her fun day.
Getting ready for a nice family dinner and prep work for the friends BBQ, keep us busy. That is until Daddy got off work and took The Girl for a quick spin. A quick spin and some Daddy-Daughter gelato time.
After dinner little Miss Maywen was able to partake in her first cupcake
, quickly followed up with her birthday bath
